Happy New Year to Everyone!

I hope you have been having a great holiday so far. I am very happy to let you know that I am staying on Pretty Pink Posh Design Team for another term (and many more hopefully). If you have been following me on Instagram or from my blog,  you already knew how much I  love Pretty Pink Posh products. I am here thanking Paulina for giving me a stage to play with her wonderful products to inspire and share with you all! I am also welcoming some new design team members joining our PPP family. I am here sharing this card I made during the holiday using multiple Pretty Pink Posh products. First of all, I copic colored the kitties and fish from Cuddly Cat stamp set and cut with Coordinating dies, Koala from Koala Friends stamp set and cut with Coordinating dies, Champine bottle and other accessories form Happy New Year stamp set and cut with Coordinating dies (It is a Not-Yet-Release set, you could get them now from The hedgehoghollow December 2018 subscription box. )

I ink blended with Tim Holtz Distress oxide ink in Candied Apple on a piece of A2 sized watercolor paper, then I mixed ink with water and splattered over top surface of panel by tapping a watercolor brush. While I let it set to dry, I cut two chevron strips out of champagne gold glitter paper using one of Stacked Edge 1 Dies. I attached upper one using Multi Medium Matte and lower one with foam tape.

When making a card, everything could happen. I figured to have one of kitties hop and fly on the champagne bottle. When the bottle cap opens, whole bunch of fish jump out. They invited their friend Koala to celebrate the new year. Too bad they didn’t bring some Eucalyptus leaves, or maybe its in the bottle. Hehe….who knows! After arranged all images, I  I embossed the sentiment from Happy New Year Stamp set with Metallic gold embossing powder.At last, I added some gold sequins to finish off this card.
